Reaching Reading

Reading boasts of having one of the best connectivity in the country. By air, it is an half an hour drive from Heathrow along the M4 while Gatwick is one and half hour by road. Direct coach services are there from the airport to Reading (at Calcot, some 6 miles from the Reading centre).From those coming from Portsmouth and Southampton, taking a ferry is the best solution and within Reading taking a bus or a bike is the best way of exploring the town.
