Berlin Holiday Apartments

The capital city of Germany, Berlin located in north eastern Germany on the River Spree is one of Germany’s largest cities and the ninth most popular city of the European Union. There are also several neighbourhoods in Berlin that have a predominantly gay scene whilst being a mixed area at the same time. Given below are two of the most popular neighbourhoods where you can stay and rent a holiday apartment or holiday rental of your choice.

The middle class neighbourhood of Schoeneberg bordering Charlottenburg and West Kreuzberg is one such area. Home to several foreign language schools, the neighbourhood is a Mecca for shopping and dining enthusiasts with some of the fanciest eating joints located there. A mixed area, the neighbourhood has embraced the alternative culture scene and the area round Nollendorfplatz being very lively during the night.

Prenzlauer Berg

one of the prettiest districts of Berlin, the neighbourhood of Prenzlauer Berg is hugely popular among the student community as well as amongst the young couples and those with family. With quirky cafes and some great restaurants, the neighbourhood is a gourmand delight. Mauer Park with its open are karaoke and Arkona Platz with its flea market are its other attractions along with the Mehringdamm , the Schwules Museum and the gay clubs of SchwuZ and AHA.
