Rome All Short Term Lets

The capital of Lazio city and of Italy, Rome also happens to be one of Italy’s largest cities and the fourth most populous city of the European Union. With a history spanning over two thousand years, the city once known as the eternal city is famed for its rich history and architecture that can be best seen in its beautiful basilicas, opulent palaces, romantic ruins and ornate fountains many of whom are world heritage sites. Vatican City, the center of the Catholic Church is also situated well within the realms of Rome and continues to attract millions of devotes and tourists every year making Rome one of the most visited tourist destination in the world and its short term lets very much in demand

When you are in Rome, it makes sense to book a holiday rental in one of these neighbourhoods:

Trastevere – Meaning the other side of the Tiber River, the neighbourhood of Trastevere is one of the nicest places to stay with its cobbled streets and several artisan shops. The church of Santa Cecilia and Church of Santa Maria are within this neighbourhood precinct as is the Museo di Roma which houses some beautiful watercolour paintings of 19th century Rome. The neighbourhood namely the Piazza di Santa Maria with its restaurants, bars and pizzeria’s takes a lively appearance once the evening sets in.

Piazza Navona and around - For those who love history with its Renaissance palaces, churches and museums, the vacation rentals in and around the Piazza Navona are the best place to stay. When you stay in a cosy studio apartment east of the Tiber River, you will find yourself not far from the oval-shaped Piazza Navona square with its beautiful fountains and café-lined streets; the ever popular Pantheon; the Campo de' Fiori open air fruit and vegetable market square that is opened from dawn to 2pm from Monday to Saturday and the Michelangelo designed Piazza Farnese (now the French Embassy)

Via Veneto- The service apartments at Via Veneto are best suited for those who love shopping for haute couture and designer wear. Via dei Condotti and Via Sistina are the place to be should you wish to shop for Prada, Gucci, Armani and other designer wear.

Other neighbourhoods where you should think of renting a short let apartment are the areas in and around:

• Central Staion
• Colosseum &Roman Forum
• The residential area of Aurelio near the Vatican
• San Lorenze
• Aventine and Monti to name a few.
