The Circuit de Catalunya, Barcelona is where the first race of the month will be held. One of the five tracks to have hosted the Spanish Grand Prix, the Circuit de Catalunya had its first race in 1991 and has over the few years been witnessed to many a records and milestones .

• Michael Schumacher has won the Spanish Grand Prix a record six times and is the all-time lap leader in Spanish Grand Prix.
• Lewis Hamilton despite leading races there on three occasions has never won in Barcelona.
• The local hero Fernando Alonso is the only Spaniard out of the 11 Spaniards to have won at home in 2006 when he drove for Renault.
• The fastest lap at the Circuit de Catalunya is held by Kimi Raikkonen -1m 21.670s set in 2008 in a Ferrari.

The Circuit de Monaco, Monte Carlo is one of the toughest and dangerous of all F1 races. The race usually held on a narrow course laid out in the streets of Monaco, with many elevation changes and tight corners is the only Grand Prix that does not adhere to the FIA's mandated 305 kilometres distance. Though the first race at Monaco was held way back in 1929, it wasn’t till 1950 that the first F1 race was held here.

• 15 is the number of times that Malaren has won the constructor prize at the Circuit de Monaco.
