Nice and tidy appartement. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 toilet appartments. Plenty of space and nice situation.

"I arrived early on a Monday morning flight from Sydney. I had problems finding the apartment - the directions were not very clear to me (a map would have helped). My taxi driver couldn't find the address, so I wandered around South Quay on foot in a cold wind, dragging a big suitcase for half an hour or so. When I enquired before departure, I was told that my apartment wouldn't be ready until the afternoon (fair enough), but I could leave my bags there for the day while I went to work. On arrival, the security guard told me that would not be possible since they had no place to store them. If I'd have known that before, I would have not bothered going there in the morning and headed straight to the office.
When I returned in the evening, the security guard ID'd me and gave me the welcome pack. That was good. I checked in and was happy. Then an hour or so later, a lady showed up at the door and asked to see my ID !!??!! Very unusual, and off-puting. (How did I even know who she was? She did not present any id or business card to identify herself!)
The kitchen was run down and not very well equipped - not even a coffee press. That's a big reason I prefer to stay in apartments instead of hotels - so I can cook my own meals sometimes. But there wasn't much in the way of cooking implements, so I ended up eating out almost every night, which was not my preferred plan.
The top lock on my door kept getting stuck; I reported this to the lady who came to check on me the first day, and she told me there was no problem. Well there was a problem for me - so every morning when I left the apartment I could only lock it with the lightweight lower lock. I've been burgled on a previous stay at a different Apartment Service place, losing a lot of personal valuables which were not covered by The Apartment Service's insurance, so ended up being a significant loss to me personally. So I like to be very careful with security. As the security guards are not always at the front desk (I understand they have other responsibilities, and everyone needs a bathroom break every so often), I did worry about security. Thankfully no one stole anything from my apartment this time.
Another thing I didn't care for .... while I was out during the day, people were coming in to the apartment. Not to clean or tidy up, but to change the furniture around! One day I arrived back to the apartment to find another sofa had been added to the living area. Again, off-puting and not very professional.

Best value for money than most of the hotels and the convenience of having common facilities when traveling with friends (a kitchen, two bathrooms, comfortable seating area, wifi). communication with DLR and underground. C. Wharf proximity to area restaurants. Supermarket in the basement of the building. Ease of check-in at late hours and can leave their luggage at the concierge the day of departure.
