Classic Chelsea Studio apartment

Chelsea, London, United Kingdom

Apartment Description

This beautiful, rustic rental apartment in London’s Chelsea has an almost country feel pervading its sophisticated elegance; and with all the comforts of home, this studio apartment is a far superior alternative to any hotel. Mainly neutral colours await the guest of this apartment, with white walls and bedding, white tiling in the bathroom, white fittings in the kitchen and parquet floors. Tasteful artworks adorn the walls, throw cushions find themselves on the inviting bed and carefully-positioned lighting adds an extra feeling of warmth to this homely serviced apartment in London. This apartment is a perfect reflection of the history, culture, wealth and modern developments all to be found in the neighbourhood.

This studio is home to a bedroom section with a queen bed and inbuilt wardrobe, a living area complete with a flat-screen TV that shows more than 50 channels and an open kitchen area with a dishwasher, washing machine, stove, oven and everything else guests will need to prepare their own meals should they wish, not to mention lift access from the lobby. Spectacular views can be enjoyed through the apartment’s windows – lovely Chelsea is nestled in the foreground, whilst the city skyline can be seen in the distance, with landmarks such as the London Eye and The Shard easy to spot. The lobby of the building is almost as exquisite as the apartment itself, with grand marble flooring and pillars dotting the sophisticated entrance.

About the Area

Chelsea is one of London’s finest areas, boasting stunning Edwardian architecture that has been beautifully preserved giving a historical feel to the well-kept streets, roads lined with grand old trees that provide shade in the summer and add an element of mystery during winter, some of the most exclusive shopping in the city and a variety of upmarket dining and nightlife venues. Chelsea is quieter than some of the areas close to London’s heart, allowing guests to enjoy a peaceful retreat within easy reach of the city centre. A number of museums are within walking distance, such as the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum. To the south, guests can enjoy a scenic walk along the River Thames, with views of parklands, Battersea Power Station and at night, the lovely lights of Chelsea Bridge.

Public transport connections from the studio apartment are excellent. South Kensington is the closest Tube station, which services the District, Circle and Piccadilly lines. Proximity to the centre of the city means travel to many of the city’s most exciting areas is quick and easy, with Buckingham Palace a mere three stops away at Green Park, transport hub Victoria only two stations along the District or Circle lines and the excitement of Piccadilly Circus accessible in just four stops.

Around the Block

For guests of this beautiful apartment, eating out is easy, with the retro Ed’s Easy Diner, serving classic American diner-style food, only metres away. A little further on guests will find The Co-operative Food supermarket in answer to all their grocery needs, along with a bar: Big Easy, for a relaxing evening pint.

These apartments are located right in between South Kensington Station and Sloane Square. There is a Sainsbury’s local a couple of doors down from the apartment block. When guests enter the building, they are welcomed with a posh reception area. There is also a concierge available for guests who need help with anything. There are two lifts available at reception. The apartments are a pretty basic 3* apartments. Guests can expect to get everything they need from a lovely cosy bed, to a privately secured apartment. Please note that you may find a few wears and tears in your apartment. I.e. some of the walls need repainting, and some of the furniture needs replacing however, you get what you pay for and the location is great.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting London and staying in this super Chelsea Studio flat. The flat is very comfortable and in a great location, very safe and very close to transit. The flat is clean and very quiet, the perfect place to home to after a busy day. Jackie is great, she is very accommodating, everything was perfect. The studio is equipped with everything you need. In the surrounding area there are pubs, restaurants, cafe, spas, shopping and much more. It was a great experience and I highly recommend Jackie and her flat. I would rent again from her.

My husband and I just returned from a week's stay in Jackie Morgan's Chelsea Studio. We were very pleased with our experience there. The description online was spot-on, no surprises, and the studio was just as attractive as it looked in the pictures. It was spotless and cozy. Don't be fooled: a studio is a studio and it is small but it is very modern and well-designed. The biggest surprise was how quiet it was. It's in a very large apartment building in a very lively neighborhood but in our interior studio, we never heard a peep. Tube access is great, just 5 stops to Leicester Square and the TKTS office for cheap theater seats, and a direct line to and from Heathrow. Chelsea is beautiful and full of elegant shops and restaurants. Great for walking around in. We would definitely stay here again and would certainly recommend it to friends

This is an excellent studio, elegant in every aspect. We stayed there between end November and beginning December 2010 and in spite of the cold spell in London we felt extremely comfortable. The location is with everything and anything you may require just a short walk away, be it shopping, transport,( including easy access from London's airports ), museums, restaurants, parks, entertainement, etc. The area is one of the most elegant in London and it is just a joy to take a walk from the flat to the nearby attractions. There has been a lot of thought in making this place so well appointed that it really attracts you,the moment you open the door, it was spotless, extremely well maintained while all the amenities are so cleverly placed. We have already recommended this studio to friends and booked our forthcoming visits there well in advance.

I greatly enjoyed my stay in this studio apartment. The apartment itself is small but not too small and is superbly equipped. The décor is pleasing and the furnishings in the studio bedroom are of a very high order. There are plenty of wall sockets for electronic equipment. The kitchen is splendid and as with the rest of the apartment is equipped to a very high standard indeed. The bathroom has everything a bathroom should have. There is a full bath, a great shower and all the other usual facilities. The apartment was spotlessly clean upon arrival. Chelsea Cloisters is in a very safe area of London. It is situated just a few minutes’ walk away from South Kensington Underground station. The Victoria and Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum are a further five minutes’ walk away. In the opposite direction, and again within a few minutes’ walk, is King’s Road. Walk a little further and Sloane Square comes into view. Food shopping is easy: Sainsbury’s is all but next-door and Waitrose is just a short walk along the King’s Road. There is a wealth of cafes and restaurants close by. Music lovers in town during the Promenade Concert season are within easy walking distance of the Royal Albert Hall itself and Cadogan Hall for chamber concerts.
