London’s No1 pantomime team returns this year with another sure fire hit with Aladdin, the classic story of a boy and his magic lamp. Aladdin is a classic adventure story, which is set to light up the stage at the Hackney Empire this season.
Flying genies and singing camels, tap dancing pandas, big musical numbers and great comedic moments, make this a fantastic show that the whole family will enjoy.
Susie McKenna, pantomime writer/director extraordinaire, has once again teamed up with composer Steve Edis to present Clive Rowe (Olivier Award nominee for his role in last year’s Mother Goose) and Anna Jane Casey (Chicago) in a spectacular show.

London’s theatreland reviews : Part 4 – Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Mirror Mirror on the wall, which pantomime is the fairest of them all? Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Richmond Theatre of course.
Yes that’s right pantomime season is well and truly upon us and this year a strong cast of performers includes Jane Asher (The Palace), Tim Vine (Not Going Out) and Sapphire Elia (Brittania High) will be taking to the stage to retell one of the most loved fair tales.
Snow White is the classic tale of a girl who escapes life under The Wicked Queen to find happiness and safety in the company of seven dwarfs in a tiny cottage. Audiences will both be laughed and thrilled by this shows light and dark moments.
Complete with the memorable Disney songs Heigh-Ho and Whistle While You Work are both present, complete with fabulous sets, glittering costumes and fairy tale magic. This is great family entertainment; particularly if you are hear in London for vacation.

London’s theatreland reviews : Part 4 – Peter Pan
Where: The 02 Arena

Following a sell out run in the summer in London’s historic Kensington Gardens, this spectacular new stage production of JM Barrie’s classic story is coming to the 02 Arena for the Christmas season.

The show will be performed “in the round” a specifically commissioned, state-of-the-art purpose built pavilion in the Meridian Gardens at the 02. The cast, led by Ciaran Kellgren (Shamless) as Peter and Jonathan Hyde (Dinotopia) as Captain Hook, remains with the production for the transfer.
